This week on CounterSpin: Time magazine's Joe Klein wagged his finger at Democrats in a recent column for being too anti-war and being civil liberties extremists. Turns out he was completely wrong about the facts, but what did we learn from the back and forth between Klein and his critics? We'll ask the person who started it all, Salon.com's Glenn Greenwald.
Also on CounterSpin today: Award winning Associated Press photographer Bilal Hussein has been held without charge by US authorities for more than 19 months. Now US officials claim they will outline specific charges that Hussein has aided anti-US insurgents and hand him over to Iraqi justice system. Over the course of his incarceration AP has defended Hussein and demanded he receive due process. We'll talk to AP Associate General Council Dave Tomlin about Bilal Hussein.
