On the occasion of what the media activist group calls "a major milestone in Internet policy," policy director Ben Scott urges watchfulness on us—and caution on the part of would-be censors:

The FCC's action confirms that it is illegal for Internet service providers to block or impede access to lawful online content.... Standing on the solid legal foundation established today by the FCC, Internet users must remain vigilant in defending an open Internet. Cable and phone companies would now be wise to obey the law.
