NBC became NBC Universal in 2004 when GE bought the controlling share of Vivendi’s holdings in Universal Entertainment. In its media portfolio are CNBC, MSNBC, Telemundo, Bravo in addition to ten NBC television stations and fifteen Telemundo Spanish language stations.
