Viacom and CBS merged in 2000, but in 2005 the companies split to form two separately traded entities. CBS Corporation was created and manages CBS Television Network, UPN, CBS Stations Group, CBS Paramount Television, King World, Showtime, CBS Radio, CBS Outdoor, Simon & Schuster, CBS Digital Media, CSTV and CBS Consumer Products.
