There hasn't been a winnable counterinsurgency conducted in at least the last hundred years...and perhaps never. President Obama (as well meaning as he is) has been faked off by the Westmoreland-West Point-Myth that insurgents can somehow be beaten to a pulp by U.S. high tech weapons, and then their hearts and minds won over. President Obama has been faked off by what President Eisenhower called the Military-Industrial Complex. The multiple head of the great M-IC & W-WP-M fake-off machine is composed of the Pentagon and the political transients passing back and forth through the public-private sector revolving door conveniently located "down in the lobby" on Capitol Hill and at the Pentagon. Yet another generation of America's young soldiers, marines, airmen and sailors are all being sucked dry by SW Asia (Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan)...just as an earlier generation was sucked dry by SE Asia (Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos). The present multi-headed snake of the counterinsurgency in SW Asia should have never progressed to the counterinsurgency stage...never! There is absolutely no reason in the world why Osama bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri should still be walking around! U.S. black ops had them in their vice-grips. But they slipped away like two well-greased snakes. Why? Perhaps the reason can be found somewhere deep down in the bowels of the corporate media...from whence the grease for the hinges of the public-private sector revolving door is generously dispensed.
