Gawker blogger The Cajun Boy (6/24/09) is agog at "How Fox News Educates Its Viewers":
Last night Glenn Beck made crude drawings on a chalkboard, and tonight he and Bill O'Reilly used Barbie dolls to explain ACORN.
In the course of explaining how Nancy Pelosi is trying to stop noble Republicans from stopping ACORN from destroying America, Beck reached under the table and pulled out a Barbie kit. Now, we watched this demonstration twice and actually don't get what Beck is trying to convey, so either we're stupider than even the basest Fox viewer or our elitists brains just can't process anything that comes spewing from the mouths of these clowns. Maybe you'll have better luck.
While Beck's demonstration really doesn't make any sense in itself, another reason for the confusion generated is surely that his and O'Reilly's whole take on ACORN is nonsensical in its entirety; see the FAIR publication Extra! Update: "CNN, Fox Hype ACORN Threat" (12/08) by Daniel Ward.

I guess you just don't have much of an creative sense of understanding do you.
Made good sense to me.
ACORN is a fraudulent organization — don't forget that.
Confusion is generated when people lie and try to pass it off as the truth, i.e. Speaker Pelosi's "didn't know/didn't tell" confusion.
If you can't understand analogies and metaphors, perhaps a brush up on English Lit or communications is in order.
I know this is a waste of keyboard strokes, but I can't help responding to uninformed nonsense. The right has made ACORN into a poster organization for left-wing fanaticism, and it's simply not. ACORN is an organization that helps low income families in a variety of ways, a noble effort. One of the efforts is voter registration, just a small part and not what the whole thing is about. The flap over illegally filled out voter registration is disingenuous at best. Some states require all voter registration forms, including bad ones, to be turned in. ACORN did this along with a stack marked that there were "bad" forms. So they followed the laws. That in the normal course of human interaction some people associated with ACORN didn't follow rules will happen in any organization, regardless of political affiliation. It is up to the organization to clean ranks and ACORN did. It is not the "conspiracy" minded drivel of Beck and O'Riley that drives ACORN. To say ACORN is a "fraudulent organization" is just political hyperbole. The real threat that worries the wingnuts, is that low income folks will usually vote Democrat. It's not ACORN that are the bad guys. The bad guys are the ones trying to stop American's from legally registering to vote. In the end that's what Beck and O'Riley are about.
Polls show that many independent voters watch FOX. Glenn Beck, Hannity and O'Rielly . These independents are getting very persuasive arguments that the White House is full of a bunch of cry babies who, when they don't get their way, pick up their toys and go home to moma. As Far as I am concerned, they should keep it up. It shows everyone that they "White House" are juvenile, arroogant, thin skinned and kinda naive.
