Don't mean to Bogart the board, but another thought occurred ...

Don't you wish someone had said, "This is my pre-approved question, which I'm not allowed to deviate from or follow up ..."?

I'd have loved to have seen the expressions on Brokaw's, Obama's and McCain's faces, wouldn't you?

How many hits would that have received on YouTube?

Would you call Brokaw (or Couric or Gibson or any of the other corpress "personalities") a "journalist"?

Naomi Klein is a journalist. Robert Fisk is a journalist. That is, they seek out facts and present them in a logical context.

I'm not saying that they or other true reporters are Jesuses on a stick ... but I feel I can critically trust what they're telling me.

Can you ever trust anyone with their own makeup team?
